Crime Scene: Unknown where the murder took place, her dismembered torso was found in a cardboard box by a fisherman near the Juniata River in Perry County.

Last Known Location Alive: Edna was living in Virginia at the time of her death, but was in Lancaster, PA, visiting her son who was staying with Scoutmaster Donald Ruby.

Suspect Description: Donald Ruby was arrested, convicted in 1987, and sentenced to life in prison. However, after new evidence emerged—a DNA analysis revealing semen from three unidentified men—his conviction was overturned in 1992.
