Birth: 11/6/1970 – Death: 11/30/2001

Ethnicity:  Caucasian         Sex: Female

Other pertinent information: Found outside her home, with duct tape over her mouth and a head wound

Hometown: Claysburg, PA – Bedford County


Crime Scene: Data and her fiance Lorin were attacked in their home in Claysburg

Last Known Location Alive: Their home on Schellsburg Road in Clayburg

Injury Description: Dana had a head wound and died at the hospital. Lorin had a gunshot wound to the face but survived.


Suspect Description: Dana's ex, Cordel Ebersole, was arrested on February 19, 2003 for Dana's murder.

Additional Information: June 4, 2003 a judge threw out the charges against Cordel citing lack of evidence.


DNA: Cordel's DNA was at the scene and he had been in contact with Dana 392 times before the murder according to phone records
