Episode #33 : The Girl In The Box - Unidentified (1962)

A deckhand on a barge found a milk crate floating in the Schuylkill River near Philadelphia. Never did he expect the crate to hold the headless body of a young girl.

Injuries: Jane Doe was decapitated. Her right ring finger had been amputated and covered with gauze and adhesive tape. She had signs of trauma to both arms, possibly from abuse prior to death. The bottom of her feet and back showed severe post mortem burns.


Distinguishing Characteristics: Unknown


Clothing/Items Found: White apron covering her body, a piece of clear blue plastic, and a newspaper from the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin dated March 11th, 1962.
